The floor team follows the Teatro Real programme and the timing of each performance. When you book, tell us which performance you are attending and when you want to dine: the kitchen adjusts the rhythm of the dishes so the evening flows, from the table to the curtain and from the curtain back to the table.
On opera days, the offering is rounded off with the Opera tasting menu, inspired by the season premiere, and with the views of the Royal Palace from the sixth floor as a backdrop.
On the sixth and top floor of the Teatro Real in Madrid, on Plaza de Isabel II. Access is through the main entrance of the opera house, with a direct lift up to the restaurant.
No. The restaurant is open to everyone, with or without a ticket for the performance. You only need to book a table.
Yes, if you note it when you book. The team knows the schedule of each performance and adjusts the pace of the service. We recommend sitting down at least an hour and a half before the performance starts.
Yes. Papagena offers interval dinners timed to the break of each performance, also for groups. The timing is arranged so you are back on time for the second act. Note it when you book.
Yes, it is the most popular plan among those leaving the performance. On opera days the service runs from 20:00 to 00:00 and reservations are taken until 23:15.
